The Kovac Planetarium is the world’s largest mechanical globe planetarium. Only three similar but smaller globes were built, dating all the way back to the 15th century. Visitors are given a tour of the planetarium, followed by a presentation on Astronomy and the current night sky inside the rotating globe.

Just watched the CBS Sunday morning show. I am impressed. I teach astronomy at a High School in Madison, MS. Unfortunately you are a little too far to take my class there on a field trip (I wish I could), but it will make a good excuse for a long motorcycle trip.
