Unique Effigy Burial Grounds, built by nomadic Native American between 500 and 1000 A.D., can be found at this park. You can also see an open mound exhibit that features artifacts and replicated skeletal material. The boardwalk nature trail through the park's wetlands is an enjoyable walk.
