An 865-acre day use park on Wisconsin’s Door County Peninsula, Whitefish Dunes State Park is part of Wisconsin's Northern Lake Michigan Coastal Landscape. A nature center features displays relating to the ecology, geology and human history of the park, including eight significant Native American villages that are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
