Home to the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra, the 240,000 square foot Clay Center for the Arts & Sciences includes the Maier Foundation Performance Hall, an 1,883-seat theater; Walker Theater, a black-box theater; and the state-of-the-art Avampato Discovery Museum which features two floors of interactive science exhibits, an art gallery featuring permanent collections and traveling exhibitions, The ElectricSkyâ„¢ Theater which presents planetarium shows and large format films, the Douglas V.
