This 30-room Georgian Revival structure, overlooking the Kanawha River, was designed by Charleston architect Walter F. Martens. The first floor state rooms are open to the public by guided tour. These rooms include the reception hall, living room, library, state dining room, and the ballroom, featuring a mantel acquired from an Irish castle. Reservations are required.
