Adjacent to the New River Gorge National River, the 4,127-acre Babcock State Park features Cooper's Mill, a fully operable mill built as a re-creation of one which once ground grain on Glade Creek; 13 standard log cabins by Glade Creek, a trout stream; five standard cabins of frame construction, eight bungalow cabins, two deluxe handicap accessible cabins, a 52-unit campground, gift shop, Babcock Riding Stable, seasonal swimming pool, tennis court, volleyball court, over 20 miles of hiking trails and much more.
