Located at a major river crossing on the Oregon, Mormon Pioneer, California, Pony Express and transcontinental telegraph trail corridor, this reconstructed 1865 military post (Platte Bridge Station) is Wyoming’s regional history museum. Exhibits on prehistoric peoples, Native Americans, ranching, the energy industry, Casper and the western emigrant trails and frontier army are featured.
