Home to the local Chamber of Commerce and Visitor’s Center, the historic circa 1886 Fremont, Elkhorn and Missouri Valley Railroad Depot is listed on the National Historic Register and is surrounded by seven historic railcars. The depot and the collection of train cars are known as the Douglas Railroad Interpretive Center. The building is open to the public for touring during business hours.
