    the Flimp Festival is held each year on the first Saturday in May. The celebration of art, creativity, imagination and humor takes place at the Museum in the Blount Cultural Park between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Flimp Festival activities include Artists-in-Action, Treasure Hunt, Chalk Art, and the Museum’s puppet show for pre-schoolers. Food and entertainment are also offered throughout the day. The Flimps are inhabitants of gardens and are responsible for all the wonderful transformations that take place there in the spring.
