Part of Phoenix’s downtown Copper Square, the historic Heritage Square is comprised of several beautifully restored turn of the 20th century homes, including the Rosson House, and buildings located on what was part of the original Phoenix townsite during the late 1800s. This 2,800 square foot Eastlake-style Victorian home features ten rooms and five fireplaces. When visiting this 47-acre nature preserve in the Hedgpeth Hills, you will see over 1,500 ancient petroglyphs on nearly 600 boulders. The Pueblo Grande Museum is located at 1,500 year-old Hohokam village ruins in modern day Phoenix. Here visitors can explore the ruin of an 800 year-old platform mound, an excavated ballcourt, full-scale reproductions of prehistoric Hohokam homes and some of the last remaining intact Hohokam irrigation canals. The Museum's long-term exhibit hall, The Hohokam: The Land and the People, describes the life of the Hohokam people of Pueblo Grande and the Salt River Valley.
