Clear Creek History Park 11th and Arapahoe Street, Golden, CO 80401, 303-216-1243, Experience homestead life at the Clear Creek History Park at 11th and Arapahoe. Explore original 1870s homestead buildings including a cabin and barn as well as other important frontier fixtures such as a one-room school house, blacksmith shop, and root cellar. The museum offers living history demonstrations and self-paced exploration of the site and buildings seasonally, from May to September.

Territorial Capitol Building (circa 1861) 12th Street & Washington Avenue, 303-279-3113, Built by W. A. H. Loveland, founder of Loveland Pass, this building once housed the Colorado Territorial legislative sessions from 1862 to 1867. It currently houses office space and a restaurant cabaret.
