Lighthouse Keepers Christmas

Held the second Friday after Thanksgiving. Join costumed interpreters and experience the warmth of family and friends while enjoying mulled cider and other refreshments, singing carols, and listening to a Victorian Christmas tale around an outdoor fire. Self-guided tours of the 1639 Whitfield House and the current exhibits are included with admission.

Studios will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Second weekend in November. Local artists will open their studios to the public to show and sell their wares for two days.

Connecticut's premier outdoor, juried craft show featuring 170 artists from across the US, representing the finest "Made in America" contemporary: ceramics, wood, glass, metal, jewelry, leather, sculpture, fiber, paper, and more. Held under tents, rain or shine, gate fees benefit the Guilford Handcraft Center, a non-profit arts organization preserving and promoting excellence in the arts. Usually held the third weekend in July.
