One of three properties owned, preserved and protected by the Madison Historical Society, the Allis-Bushnell House includes period furniture, textiles, toys, costumes and medical, nautical and agricultural implements. Guests will also enjoy the formal English-style herb garden, which includes culinary and medicinal herbs commonly used in households of the 18th and 19th centuries, at the rear of the Allis-Bushnell House.
