Evans County Public Fishing Area Located on Highway 280 East, 912-685-6424, Located on a gently rolling 372 acre tract, this public fishing area features three lakes which vary in size from eight to 84 acres and are available to the public for boating and bank fishing. A boat ramp, fishing piers, and a boardwalk are also available.

Evan's Heights Golf Club Located on Highway 301 South, 912-739-3003, A beautiful 18 hole, par 72 semiprivate golf course that has tree-lined fairways, fairly flat terrain which is easy to walk, and water hazards coming into play on five holes.
