Gwinnett History Museum 455 Perry Street, Lawrenceville, GA 30045, 770-822-5178, Housed in the original circa 1855 Lawrenceville Female Seminary, one of Gwinnett's oldest buildings, this museum is a reservoir of Gwinnett historic artifacts and exhibits about 1800s Gwinnett with displays including an exhibit about Civil War satirist Bill Arp.  

Rhodes Jordan Park 100 East Crogan Street, Lawrenceville, GA 30046, 770-822-5414, A 22-acre lake is surrounded by open space, three picnic pavilions a 0.8-mile paved multipurpose trail, one playground as well as seven baseball/softball fields, and a football field overlay. The park also features a community center with two classrooms, a dance/aerobics room, a large community room and a double gymnasium. The tennis center has eight lighted courts. An outdoor leisure pool features three lap lanes, a large slide and other water play features.
