• Women of the Confederacy Monument

  One of the few monuments in the South that is dedicated to the women of the Confederacy, this monument was sculpted in Italian marble sometime between 1910 and 1920. On the statue's wing shaped base, made of Georgia marble, are the names of confederate soldiers from Thomson.  map
