  You are bound to see plenty of gators, exotic birds and plants, and turtles on this remote 80 acre island park that was named after songwriter Stephen Foster and is a primary entrance to the famed Okefenokee Swamp. Rangers conduct boat tours replete with swamp legends and lore and amenities on site include RV sites and cottages, an interpretive center, 25 miles of day use waterways, a trembling earth nature trail, and three picnic shelters. more...  map
