Situated in the heart of Arlington Heights, the Promenade of Art returns for its eleventh year. Produced in cooperation with the Village of Arlington Heights, this celebrated outdoor festival features the work of 130 juried artists from around the country. Offerings include ceramics, fiber, glass, jewelry, sculpture, mixed media, paintings, drawings, photography, printmaking, wood and furniture. Festival-goers will have the opportunity to see the masters at work with interactive art demos taking place all weekend long. This year's festival will also include the inaugural Taste of Arlington Heights. Running in conjunction with the art festival, The Taste will feature delicious dishes and drinks from many of Arlington Heights most notable restaurants. In addition to the incredible art and tasty fare, the festival will feature live music and fun art activities for kids, including an art scavenger hunt. more...
