Craig Woods Golf Course 5818 South State Route 47, Woodstock, IL 60098, 815-337-3116, This 9-hole public golf course features 2,290 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 34. Designed by Roger Craig, the golf course, which opened in 1983, has fairways that are mostly open although a few are tree lined. The greens are small and difficult to hit in regulation, while water hazards come into play on at least five holes. The terrain is hilly, but not too difficult to walk.

Crystal Woods Golf Club 5915 South Route 47, Woodstock, IL 60098, 815-338-3111, Redesigned in 1989 by Bob Lohmann, this scenic, semi-private/daily fee, 18-hole course is exciting and challenging, with fairways which vary in width, and water hazards that come into play on at least six holes. It features 6,405 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 69.5 and it has a slope rating of 115. Walking is not allowed until 2 PM on the weekends on this course, so carts are included in weekend green fees. A pro shop and clubhouse are also on-site.

It has bent grass greens that are fairly small and fast, and narrow tree-lined fairways with 2,975 yards of golf from the longest tees, for a par of 35. The terrain is very hilly with numerous water hazards and sand bunkers that come into play throughout the course.

Deer Run Golf Center 11007 West Route 120, Woodstock, IL 60098, 815-338-9701, Adventure Golf miniature golf, as well as a full golf practice range are featured at this family-friendly facility. With a driving range, chipping green, and putting green, you can practice your whole golf game, without being on the course. Lessons and a Pro Shop are also offered.

(Woodstock Aggressive Riders Park) is a 10,000 sq. ft. skate park with ramps, banks, ledges, rails, launch box, and more.
