    These two properties are maintained by the Indian Dunes National Lakeshore. Bailly Homestead was the home of one of Porter County's earliest settlers, French-Canadian voyageur and fur trader Joseph Bailly. Chellberg Farm is an early 20th century, 80 acre working farm established in 1874 by Swedish immigrants Anders and Johanna Kjellberg.  map
