This festival recreates life in the 1840s with six log cabin homes, seven log shops, a log barn, covered bridge, church/schoolhouse, and an operating gristmill. The village people will show their skills and crafts of blacksmithing, woodcarving, rail splitting, log hewing, shingle making, hearth cooking, spinning, weaving, fur trading, rope making, and candle dipping. A gift shop, an old fashion crafters area, local artists, a traders flea market, food vendors, and much more is offered.
