Jean Lafitte National Park On Barataria Boulevard, Highway 45, 504-589-2330, Includes over nine miles of hiking trails, and nearly 30 miles of waterways and bayous. There are picnic areas and canoe launches and some of the trails are wheelchair accessible. A daily ranger guided walking tour takes place at 2 p.m. and the rangers guide canoe treks weekly on Sunday mornings, and monthly at night during the full moon. more... |
