Little Sable Point Lighthouse (circa 1874) 101 Silver Lake Road, Mears, MI 49436, Located Two Miles West of Silver Lake, 231-873-3083, One of the oldest brick towers remaining on the Great Lakes, this lighthouse features a 107 foot tall red brick tower. There is a great public sandy beach around the lighthouse that is popular with families and sunbathers on site. The Big Sable Point tower deteriorated but the Little Sable Lighthouse still looks much as it did when it was constructed.
