Mid-May to Mid-June at the Midland Center for the Arts is the Matrix Festival. You can see performances by singers, musicians, comedians, and dancers. You may also see fine art, history and science events. A family event that is the kick-off for the fall campaign of United Way of Midland County. See 50 hot air balloons in different shapes and colors. Balloon launches are sometimes preceded by skydivers and followed by afterglows. Festivities begin Friday morning with events on Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday morning.
