Held each year the first Saturday of every February, this event includes activities and events such as a lumberjack pancake feed, sleigh rides, old-time music, sawing contests, axe chopping and throwing contests, chain saw sculpting, woodcarving, crafts, and a Paul Bunyan Magic Show, as well as a variety of historic exhibits that are on display.

This unique event is annual, being held in July and August of each year, and allows one to learn about different languages and cultures, as well as joining in a variety of cultural activities, such as Japanese drumming, French Voyageur canoe rides, and Norwegian folk dancing.

Finlandia Ski Marathon

Termed "The Nordic Festival of the North", the Finlandia is a four day premier North American ski event, taking place in February, which features over six hundred national and international elite skiers, races, exhibits, and plenty of fine food.
