  Open daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day, the recreated Fort Belmont allows visitors to imagine living the life of a Southwestern Minnesota pioneer in the 1800's.   A branch of the Plum Creek Library System, the Jackson Public Library is open on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., until 5:00 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays, Saturdays 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and on Sundays 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Jackson Public Library is closed on weekends from Memorial Day through Labor Day. more...  map
