Turtle Race Season

The Turtle Race Season is a two month event, with races held every Wednesday, rain or shine; one may catch and paint one’s own turtle, or rent one; money prizes are awarded to the winners of each race.
Christmas Tour of Homes

On this tour, which unseasonably occurs in early October, one will visit four homes which have been professionally decorated for Christmas, and be entertained by special music and holiday demonstrations at each of the homes; this is a two day event.
