Turtle Race Season

The Turtle Race Season is a two month event, with races held every Wednesday, rain or shine; one may catch and paint one’s own turtle, or rent one; ribbons and medals are awarded to the winners of each race.
City of Lights and Fireworks

This town lighting tradition features bonfires, carolling, hayrides, free cider, live music, food, and a grand fireworks display in the evening; the event takes place each November.
Nisswa Garden Club Show

This is one of the premier flower shows in the lake country, which also features a number of other attractions, including a bake sale, a plant sale, demo classes, and refreshments; the show takes place in July of each year.
Christmas Tour of Homes

On this tour, which unseasonably occurs in early October, one will visit four homes which have been professionally decorated for Christmas, and be entertained by special music and holiday demonstrations at each of the homes; this is a two day event.

Majestic Pines Art Festival

Nisswa Freedom Days Parade
