    The world's longest-running holiday festival, the St. Olaf Christmas Festival was founded in 1912, and offers a worship service of hymns, carols, choral works and orchestral selections that celebrates the birth of Christ. It features more than 500 student musicians who are members of five choirs and the St. Olaf Orchestra. The yearly performance is broadcast both nationally and internationally.
