This semi-annual event brings history to life. See how both Confederate and Union soldiers lived and fought during the Siege of Vicksburg in 1863. Demonstrations of period clothing, cooking, music, and fighting will make this an educational event at this home which was used as a Confederate Headquarter and a field hospital.

From 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., come and enjoy panel discussions and the opportunity to step back into the Victorian era. The Coral Room inside The Vicksburg Hotel will be filled with vendors regarding literature, art, jewelry and fashion. For those unfamiliar to what steampunk is imagine Victorian Sci-Fi. Great examples of this genre are, "The Time Machine" and "Around the World in 80 Days". This is also a cosplay event, meaning that all guests are welcome to come in Victorian attire. This is a family friendly event with the goal to raise money for The Westside Theater Foundation.
