  Located in the former home of W.W. Kitchin, North Carolina's Governor from 1809 to 1813, this historical museum complex includes the Kitchin home, a tobacco barn, the Van Hook Subscription School, Dr. John H. Merritt's office, and the Woodsdale General Store.
