The New Jersey Seafood Festival is an annual, two-day event held in early June. It features a wide array of seafood and festivities along Belmar’s scenic waterfront, with all the best seafood restaurants and wineries from the area contributing to the wonderful food and libations offered. Other activities include live musical entertainment, children's activities, displays and sales by the best artists, artisans and craftsmen in the area, and much more. more

Belmar presents two kite festivals each year, one in the spring and one in the fall, in which the skies are filled with a great variety of colorful kites. There are single and team kite precision exhibitions, and also kite flying lessons for those who have not mastered the activity.
