Performances at Akron Civic Theatre
For over twenty-five years, talented dancers ages eight through eighteen have been performing for audiences in northeast Ohio. With 32 original ballets, three modern dance works, and five commissioned scores, the company astounds all who see them with their professional level productions. Since 1998, it has also offered Reach Out and Dance (ROAD), an artist-in-residence program of dance for Akron Public School Children in the belief that the art of dance has a unique power to engage and motivate children.
