Summer Kite Festival
This tri-annual event, two held outdoors and one indoors, is held at the D-River Wayside, the shortest river in the world, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. With Lincoln City's ideal position and combination of warm equatorial air and cold polar air, this city is the perfect place to fly a kite. In fact "Kitelines" has called Lincoln City the “Kite Capital of the World.” There will be several demonstrations. Held in June. more
