Situated among the restored Renaissance gardens of Italian Lake, the annual Italian Lake Concert Series is held outdoors each summer on Sunday nights in July and August. Concerts usually start at 7:30 p.m. If it is raining, concerts will take place at Camp Curtin School at 2900 North 6th Street.

Formerly known as Harrisburg Community Theatre, Theatre Harrisburg is "one of the 25 oldest community theatres in the United States,” having been established in 1926. Theatre Harrisburg currently performs five major productions, three musicals and two plays, each season at two locations. Musicals are performed downtown in the state-of-the-art Sunoco Performance Theatre of Whitaker Center while non-musical productions can be enjoyed uptown at Krevsky Production Center on 6th & Hurlock Streets.
