Dale/Engle/Walker House (circa 1793) Located off Route 192, 570-522-0487 or 570-524-8666, Situated on a 137-acre active farm at the site of the Dale’s Ridge Trail, the limestone Dale/Engle/Walker House offers tours that focus on architecture, slavery and the Underground Railroad and the immigrant experience. Three interactive stations and an exhibit of the 1804 Dale Library is also available. The Dale/Engle/Walker House is open on Sundays from June through October. |

Christy Mathewson's Grave at Lewisburg Cemetery 210 South 7th Street, Lewisburg, PA 17837, 570-524-9246, One of the first five players elected to the Hall of Fame in 1936, which includes Babe Ruth, Honus Wagner, Ty Cobb and Walter Johnson, Christy Mathewson was born in Factoryville, Pennsylvania and attended Bucknell University. He is buried at Lewisburg Cemetery in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. |

Packwood House Museum 15 North Water Street, Lewisburg, PA 17837, 570-524-0323, Originally constructed as a two-story log cabin between 1796 and 1799, serving as a tavern and hotel through much of the 19th century, the Packwood House Museum is "among the oldest log-built structures of its kind in Pennsylvania." Opened to the public in 1976, the Packwood House Museum contains treasures of glass, ceramics, textiles, furniture, paintings, Pennsylvania German decorative arts and Oriental art. Slifer House Museum (circa mid-1800's) 80 Magnolia Drive, Lewisburg, PA 17837, 570-524-2245, Designed by Philadelphia architect Samuel Sloan for Eli Slifer as a private residence, this Tuscan-style Victorian mansion was the site of the first local hospital which was founded in 1926 by the Evangelical Association.
