One of the popular, beautiful, and unusual beaches in the United States, this large park features over 5,000 acres of sandy beach, saltwater marsh, and maritime forest. A one mile trail is located within the park that will take you to the Hunting Island Lighthouse, that was built in 1873 and is the only lighthouse in South Carolina that is open to the public.
