An annual Jewish cultural and food festival, will take place on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., with free entrance. Food is what brings people to a cultural festival, and ShalomFest will not disappoint. Traditional Jewish foods, some Israeli items and delicious pastries will be served. While savoring these delicacies, visitors will be able to participate and learn about different aspects of Jewish life. Throughout the Temple, educational rooms will be arranged for people to visit and learn about Judaism: the history, the Hebrew language, and the religion. In addition, Upstate rabbis and Israeli officials will offer discussions of Judaism in relation to other religions as well as explaining the State of Israel and its politics.
