Enchanted World Doll Museum 615 North Main Street, Mitchell, SD 57301, 605-996-9896, Located in an English style castle, complete with a moat, turrets, and a drawbridge, this museum houses over 4,000 antique and modern dolls from the early 1800's to modern times. There are also 2,000 ethnic dolls from more than 125 countries.  

Middle Border Museum & Oscar Howe Art Center 1300 East University Street, Mitchell, SD 57301, 605-996-2122, Four art galleries are located in this museum that features original works and changing exhibits. You'll also see Pulitzer prize winning author Hamlin Garland's Middle Border history exhibits that range in dates from the year 1600 to 1939.
