Peachy Open House, A

An annual event which lasts for the month of August, this family event offers visitors a chance to sample peaches, nectarines, and apples which will be made into wine. Farm animals are on site to entertain the children and visitors can bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the pavilion.

Founded in 1989, this community orchestra serves Bedford County and surrounding communities. The orchestra has two seasons per year, ending in free public concerts in the spring and fall. Their repertoire consists of orchestral scores representing the baroque, classical, impressionistic, and romantic periods, as well as contemporary movie scores, jazz, and pop arrangements.
