A reconstructed Revolutionary War farm, this farm is worked with the same tools and methods employed by farmers in the 18th century. The farm demonstrates the life of a poor family living on a small farm in northern Virginia just prior to the American Revolution and features staff and volunteers dressed in period clothes who work the farm and answer questions about livestock and life on a family farm. more... map

A fitting memorial to our 26th President, who was an outdoorsman, naturalist, and visionary, this 91 acre, wooded island park contains a 17 foot bronze statue of President Theodore Roosevelt, as well as two and a half miles of trails through the marsh, swamp, and forest.
