Kids Fishing Derby

Grab your fishing poles and head down to the Lincoln Park Ponds. This derby is just for kids 15 and under. They will have prizes, food and fish. So, bring your blanket, fishing pole and some patience. This event takes place from 8 to 11 a.m.

The Port Angeles Regional Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the Wave Broadband 4th of July Celebrations set to take place on Wedensday, July 4th. Food and craft vendors will set the stage for a Festival Village in the City Pier parking lot starting at 3 p.m. Live music, sponsored by Hermann Brothers Logging/Sunset Do It Best Hardware, begins at 4 on the pier stage under the pavilion and continues on (with a parade break for the parade) to kick off the Grand Fireworks display at dusk. The parade, sponsored by Kitsap Bank, will begin at 6 p.m. in front of the Clallam County Courthouse.

The downtown, 1920's-era Lincoln Theatre once held a thousand movie patrons. Renovated in the mid-1980's, the theatre retained its classic marquee and feel while dividing itself into three smaller theatres.

This festival will feature 11 great bands performing over the course of four days at four terrific venues. The sounds of traditional Jazz will be featured along with Gospel on Sunday morning. As always, this will be a great family event with shuttle buses between venues, and reasonable food and beverage prices. Flipper Over Festival
Two days of musical performers from across the country (NYC, San Francisco, Atlanta, etc.), and across the musical spectrum (rock, pop, jazz, country, etc.).
This event brings together the Clallam County Historical Society, local Tribes, resident historians, and the business community to educate residents and guests about the Port Angeles History. Guided walking tours of Historic downtown Port Angeles will take place daily Saturday and Sunday. There will also be trolley tours of other historic and Civil War homes through out uptown Port Angeles. Back by popular demand are the Clock Tower tours of the historic County Courthouse, as well as tours of the infamous Elwha Dam.
Jingle Bell Run
Vern Burton Community Center
Jingle all the way at the annual Olympic Medical Center Foundation Jingle Bell Run; presented by Team OMC. This fun, family event starts amid the Festival of Trees in the Vern Burton Community Center. The race course runs down historic Lincoln St. and turns around on the scenic Discovery Trail to finish at the Port Angeles City Pier. After your race join us inside the Landing Mall for refreshments and the awards ceremony. Race in costume for holiday laughs and a chance to win the costume contest. Jingle bells provided!

Strait Thunder will attract the fastest and most competetive teams as this is the last race of the season and the teams are vying for championship points. The course is a one and a quarter mile loop that will provide exceptional viewing from the City Pier and the Olympic Discovery Trail, making this event very spectator friendly.
