Special Olympics provides individuals with mental disabilities the opportunity to train and compete in athletic events. Support these special athletes by attending the inspirational sports events, races, and awards ceremonies held each October. Other Special Olympics events are held throughout the year.

Wyoming Symphony Orchestra

The Wyoming Symphony Orchestra has performed continuously since 1948 with roots reaching back to the early part of the century. The orchestra frequently is joined by nationally known guest artists, as well as the Civic and Children's Chorales. Concerts take place on Saturday evenings in the John E. Walsh Auditorium of Natrona County High School.

Stage III Community Theatre

Since 1980, Stage III Community Theatre has showcased Casper talent in a wide variety of shows. Auditions are always open to the public, and backstage help is an ongoing need.

This exciting annual July fair and rodeo draws huge crowds from all over Wyoming. In addition to carnival rides, games and food vendors, this fair offers live entertainment, rodeo excitement, and family activities.

The Wyoming Cavalry, member of the National Indoor Football League, holds its home games between March and June in the Casper Events Center.
Casper Ghosts Professional Baseball Club

The Casper Ghosts Baseball Club is a member of the Pioneer League, and are the Advanced-Rookie Affiliate of the Colorado Rockies. They play 76 games a year with 38 home games at Mike Lansing Field, which is off North Poplar Street along the North Platte River and near the circle of convention hotels, the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center and the Platte River pathway system. The season is from June to mid September.
