A Western arts celebration held the fourth week of each September, Rendezvous Royale includes the Buffalo Bill Art Show & Sale, a live auction of contemporary Western art, the Cody High Style Fashion Show, a quick draw, an exhibition of works by the best Western furniture artisans and craftsmen, educational seminars, studio tours and the Patrons Ball.

"Buffalo Bill Chuckwagon invites you and your family to enjoy a fantastic night of live music and fun for all ages." Beginning at 6:00 p.m., patrons can enjoy "real western hospitality, home cooked food, and great family fun," including "a rib sticking dinner of beef brisket, chicken, ribs and pork loin barbeque served with all the trimmings." Buffalo Bill Chuckwagons' “Wranglers” entertainers will perform "a great hand clapping, knee slapping, toe tapping cowboy song show while telling jokes and stories from the old west." Lunches and buffet-style breakfasts are available.

Cowboys and cowgirls from across the United States come to Cody each year at the beginning of July to "win the big purses and ride the best stock" at the Buffalo Bill Cody Stampede Rodeo, "a truly Western event that has its roots in ranch contests and games as well as spectacle and drama borrowed from the world famous Wild West shows produced by Col. William F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody." The Cody Nite Rodeo runs from June through August.
