Historic China Town
Located on the West Side of Evanston
This historic area of Evanston is the part of town where the large Chinese immigrant population lived. The Chinese immigrants and culture were very influential in Evanston as Chinese men and women moved into this area to become workers for the Union Pacific Railroad. Now, you can visit the interesting homes and businesses that once flourished here.
Historic Depot Square

Depot Square is a gathering place for locals and visitors. This area is home to Evanston's historic Union Pacific Train Depot, the Uinta County Museum, the Chinese Joss House Museum, the Beeman-Cashin Building, Evanston's Chamber of Commerce, the Andrew Carnegie Library building and many other significant buildings.
