  Each Year Alameda Civic Light Opera,ACLO, presents a program of contemporary and traditional musical theater works and limited engagement special events in the historic Kofman Theater and other Bay Area venues. ACLO's 2009 Season of Change will include three award-winning Broadway musicals from important turning points in American history including "Ragtime" (July 11, 12*, 18, 19*, 24, 25 and 26*),"Annie" (August 8, 9*, 15, 16*, 21, 22, 23*) and "Hair" (September 12, 13*, 19, 20*, 25, 26, and 27*) all performed at the Kofman Theater . Other 2009 Special performances include "Broadway's Greatest Moments" (November 7 and 8*) also at the Kofman Theater and "Sounds of the Season" (December 12 and 13*) at The Rhythmix Cultural Center.
