It is now a premier event featuring multiple entertainment venues as well as complimentary samples from some of the area's most popular caterers and restaurants. Multitudes come out to celebrate and enjoy a wonderful evening that includes magical decorations and enchanting entertainment under the stars.

    Occuring on the second Thursday of every other month, this is an opportunity to enjoy a time of art and fun. During this social time, business owners keep their doors open from 6 to 9 p.m and host receptions with food and drink. Meanwhile, art viewers, strolling or riding the free trolley from site to site, immerse themselves in art, beauty, and festivities. The venue is also host year-through to numerous arts events.

    Held on the grounds of the Gold Country Fair, this festival celebrates the start of holiday harvest. Each autumn, just before Thanksgiving, vendors serve up mandarin infused drinks, salads, grilled meats, ice-creams, glazed nuts, chocolate-dipped mandarins, fudge, marinades and syrups at this family event. The festival also offers hand-crafted items for sale just in time for holiday giving and home trimming at more than 150 booths. A wonderful place for children and buy fresh, buy local enthusiasts.

    The SONORA BLUES FESTIVAL is held at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds, downtown in the Central Sierra Gold Rush town of beautiful Sonora. Concerts on 3 Stages will be held "on the green", inside the air conditioned Sierra Building and on a workshop stage in the air conditioned Manzanita Building. The last set of the day will be a dance set and dancing will be allowed in front of the stage.
