Helton Creek Falls Trail Located on Highway 129 South, 706-745-5789, This trail descends quickly to a mountain cove, then to the creekbed where the first falls are immediately visible, and down a fairly steep and well used set of stairs; exercise caution because the rocks are deceptively slippery around the falls.

Cooper's Creek Wildlife Management Area Located at Highway 60 & Highway 180, 770-535-5700, Covering 34,000 acres, this wildlife management area offers a wide range of activities including hunting, camping, fishing, hiking, bird watching, and horseback riding.
