A 4,180 acre mountain lake with clear deep water and 106 miles of shoreline that provides opportunities for boating, fishing, picnicking, and camping. An abundant population of largemouth bass, crappie, and striped bass are stocked in the lake.

Helton Creek Falls Trail

This trail descends quickly to a mountain cove, then to the creekbed where the first falls are immediately visible, and down a fairly steep and well used set of stairs; exercise caution because the rocks are deceptively slippery around the falls.
