The largest historic community of its kind in the United States, this National Historic Landmark is the most completely restored Shaker community and premier living history museum that features 34 original 19th century buildings on 2,800 beautiful acres of farmland. Costumed interpreters show visitors the daily Shaker life through many demonstrations including spinning, broom making, gardening, weaving, and farm work. Self guided tours are available, as well as riverboat excursions. Olde Towne Park

The park features a 14x32 foot cascading fountain. This unique creation of public art was inspired by the scenic palisades found along the Kentucky River on the eastern border of Mercer County.
