World Championship Crawfish Etouffee Cook-Off

One of the best food festivals in Louisiana, this cookoff features 100 teams competing and visitors can buy samples from each. There is also a Cajun dance pavilion and plenty of other entertainment provided and French-speaking translators are available. Held in March.

Roundez Vous des Cajuns
South Second Street and Park Avenue • Eunice, LA 70535
This is not only the biggest attraction in Eunice, but one of the premier weekly events in South Louisiana. Every Saturday night at six, the old Liberty vaudeville theater plays host to the Roundez Vous des Cajuns, a two-hour show featuring Cajun and Zydeco bands, humorists, and cooks reciting their favorite recipes.

Eunice Mardi Gras Celebration

A traditional rural Mardi Gras festival. On Mardi Gras Day, which is always held the day before Ash Wednesday (usually February or March), Eunice holds a traditional Courir de Mardi Gras. Costumed participants ride on horseback and on flatbeds through the countryside.
