  This village is comprised of thirteen buildings that are reminiscent of the 1800s, with the centerpiece of the village being the Dunnell Mansion, which was built in 1868; other buildings include a church, two cabins, a depot, a fire hall, a general store, a town hall, a school, a blacksmith shop, and a farm equipment building. All of the buildings are completely furnished with authentic period pieces.  map

• State School Orphanage Museum

  This is the site of Minnesota's only state orphanage, which was in operation from 1886 to 1945, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places; the museum contains pictures, artifacts, and personal stories of some of the approximately thirteen thousand children who were placed in the orphanage. The site contains thirteen original buildings, a cemetery, and the "State School Kids" Memorial.  map
